Privacy
The walk is yours.
Last updated · May 2026
Urban Discovery is built to be quiet. No advertising. No third-party trackers. The walk works offline. This page describes the data we do and do not handle.
What we don't collect
- No advertising identifiers. No third-party trackers.
- No analytics that follow you across apps or websites.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with brokers.
The current build does not require a name, email, or profile to walk. If that ever changes, this page changes too, and we will say plainly what is collected and why.
What stays on your device
- Your downloaded walks, last-played position, and language preference live on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
- Location is used by the watch to know which pin you're near. It is not transmitted to us.
What we may collect
- Email, if you write to us. We use it only to reply and keep the thread for context. We do not add you to a mailing list.
- Aggregate, non-identifying app metrics (e.g. crash reports, walk-load counts) through Apple's standard developer tools. You can disable analytics sharing in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Your choices
You can delete the app at any time, which removes everything stored on your device. If you have emailed us and want the thread deleted, write to hello@urbandiscovery.app and we will remove it.
Children
Urban Discovery is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and note the change in the app's release notes.
